Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public access to many court and agency records, but the rules vary by record type. Elk County District Court is part of the 13th Judicial District, and the Clerk of the District Court handles traffic, civil, criminal, probate, family, juvenile, small claims, protection-order, and related court filings. The Elk County Sheriff handles local jail and law-enforcement records. The Elk County Clerk handles county administrative records under KORA, while the Register of Deeds keeps land, historic vital, and genealogy records.
